Please take time to complete the 2020 Census. The census provides critical data that lawmakers, business owners, teachers, and many others use to provide daily services, products, and support for you and your community. Every year, billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on census data.
The Census is constitutionally mandated, with the first Census completed in 1790. The results determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives and are used to draw congressional and state legislative districts.
It’s easy to complete! This year we have the option of completing the census online, over the phone or filling it out on paper. Go to https://my2020census.gov/ to fill it out. Follow the prompts.
CENSUS TAKERS ARE STILL NEEDED: Anyone interested in a temporary position with the 2020 Census can go to https://2020census.gov/en/jobs.html.
